Schoolfile is published by FireX Co., Ltd. (주식회사 파이어엑스) ("we"). We are the controller of the little personal data the site handles. Contact: hello@schoolfile.co.uk.
What we collect
- Visits. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without identifying you. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes IP addresses briefly to deliver the site and protect it from attacks.
- Emails you send us. If you write to us, we keep your message and address to reply and to record corrections, for up to two years.
- Postcode search. The postcode you type stays in your browser. It is not sent to us.
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not sell or share personal data.
Legal basis and transfers
We process this data on the basis of our legitimate interest in running and securing the site and answering messages (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). Data may be processed in the Republic of Korea and the United States, both covered by UK adequacy regulations.
School data
The school information on this site is about institutions, not people. We do not publish the names of headteachers, governors or staff.
Your rights
You can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, or object to how we use it, by emailing hello@schoolfile.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commission, the UK data protection regulator (formerly the Information Commissioner's Office), at ico.org.uk.
